Today was formative assessment day meaning we had submitted our presentations along with a portfolio showing our work and artist research for final project. In my group were a few photographers, animators and graphic designers and Dr. Rowan Bailey, we started with Tom and then me so I shared my presentation that was pre recorded and sat back and listened for the 6 minutes and 40 second duration. While my peers were listening they had to think on 3 questions that they could then give me feedback for the presentation;
1: Did the presentation showcase discipline & trandsdiciplinary processes & their research?
2: What are the strengths and weaknesses of the presentation in analysing different platforms for the intended audience?
3: Did the visual styling of the presentation support the research context?
My feedback from peers...
. Good presentation and very informative
. Great use of the weeks guest lectures to create your images in their styles & learning new digital skills
. Art performance for the video - look into 1970 feminist art performance
. Try to time lapse the cutting of human hair - document and create a piece of new work from it
. Great use of experimentation and artist research
. Have a think about the name of your project for next term
. Artists to look at - Simon Hawkins, Sarah Eyre, Alice Anderson
University of Huddersfield. (2021,3,10) Formative peer review. Microsoft Teams.
This was a very helpful peer review session for me because it's a formative and our summative presentation is to be complete in the next week or so it's good to get a grasp of what I have done right and what I could improve on before submission.
